Data Deletion Instructions
Last updated: June 28, 2026
1. What we store
shotcast stores the media you upload, the videos it renders, project and publish metadata, and the OAuth tokens for any platform (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram) you connect. OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest and isolated per account.
2. Self-service deletion
- Disconnect a platform: in the Service, open the channel list and remove the connected account. This immediately deletes the stored access and refresh tokens for that platform.
- Delete projects and media: remove individual projects and uploaded media from the Service to delete the corresponding rendered videos and source files.
3. Request full deletion
To request deletion of all data associated with your account, email support@shotcast.app from the address associated with your account, or with your connected platform handle, and include the words "Data Deletion Request". We will delete your media, rendered videos, project metadata, and all stored platform tokens within 30 days and confirm by email.
4. Revoke access at the platform
You can also revoke shotcast's access directly from each platform's security settings:
- Google/YouTube: myaccount.google.com/permissions
- TikTok: Settings → Security & permissions → Manage app permissions
- Instagram: Settings → Apps and websites → remove shotcast
Revoking at the platform invalidates the tokens; the next time shotcast tries to use them they are discarded.
