Official product website

shotcastshotcast

shotcast is a live web application for shop owners and creators. It turns product photos and clips into vertical shorts (9:16), adds captions and branding, then publishes to your own YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram account — only after an explicit publish action.

This page is the public product site (not a login-only page). Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and Data Deletion are linked in the header and footer without opening a menu.

How the product works

End-to-end flow inside the authenticated studio (invite-only because render workers cost money). Reviewers: use the test account and password in the TikTok App Review Apply Reason field.

  1. Connect channels — OAuth to TikTok, YouTube, or Instagram (only the account the user connects).
  2. Upload media — add clips to the media pool and choose render options (fit/crop, captions, optional AI dialogue).
  3. Render — workers produce a vertical short for on-screen preview.
  4. Publish — with an explicit click, send the finished video to the connected platform. For TikTok, creators can Post to TikTok (Direct Post to their profile, with privacy and interaction choices) or optionally send to inbox/drafts.

Platform integrations

TikTok

When you connect TikTok, shotcast requests user.info.basic, video.upload, and video.publish. Basic profile info identifies which connected account will receive the post. Before posting, we load TikTok creator_info (nickname, privacy options, interaction limits, max duration) and show a Post to TikTok screen that follows TikTok's Content Sharing Guidelines: editable title, no default privacy, opt-in comments/duet/stitch, commercial disclosure, Music Usage Confirmation, and preview. Creators tap Post to TikTok (Direct Post) to publish to their own profile, or optionally Send to drafts (inbox) to finish in the TikTok app. We never post to any other account and never upload until that explicit action.

YouTube

When you connect Google/YouTube, shotcast requests permission to upload finished videos to the channel you connected and to read basic channel information (channel id and title) so we can show which channel a video will be posted to before you publish. We do not read analytics, subscriptions, or other YouTube data. We never post without your explicit action.

Instagram

Instagram connection is for professional accounts. shotcast publishes Reels only to the Instagram account the user linked, after an explicit publish action.

About shotcast

shotcast is operated as an independent short-form video studio product (also embeddable in CafeBlanc shop admin). It is a deployed web service at shotcast.cafeblanc.kr with a public product website, legal pages, OAuth channel connect, render workers, and publish adapters for YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram.

The editing UI lives at /studio and is invite-gated (access token + one registered browser) to control paid render cost. The Website URL for TikTok App Review is this public site (https://shotcast.cafeblanc.kr), not the studio login gate.

FAQ

Is this only a marketing landing page?

No. This site documents the live product: workflow, features, integrations, company context, FAQ, and legal links. The studio itself is a separate authenticated app surface for invited users and reviewers.

How do TikTok reviewers open the studio?

Open /studio, then enter the test password (access token) from the App Review Apply Reason field. Register the browser when prompted, connect TikTok via OAuth, render a short, open TikTok publish, complete the Post to TikTok dialog (privacy, interactions, consent), then tap Post to TikTok (Direct Post). Confirm the video on the TikTok profile (unaudited clients: private account / SELF_ONLY).

Do you post without the creator's action?

No. Publish requires an explicit user action in shotcast. For TikTok, creators choose privacy and interactions on the Post to TikTok screen, then tap Post to TikTok (Direct Post) or optionally send to inbox/drafts.

Where are Privacy and Terms?

Always visible in the top nav and footer: Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. No menu click required.
